Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi forest National park . The journey takes you south west of Uganda. You will have a stopover at the equator for photographs, buy some souvenirs and the famous water experiment, have a quick snack and continue through Mbarara where you will have another stop for lunch and then proceed to reach Bwindi forest Park in the late evening. Dinner and overnight in lodge in the forest.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking.
Early in the morning after breakfast drive to the park offices for briefing by a ranger guide, you will be divided into groups of 8 people and your gorilla tracking adventure will start. The forest is incredibly dense but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Among the Mammals to spot include the endangered mountain gorilla, forest Elephant, black fronted duiker and lots of birds among others. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is an awesome and exciting adventure so take your time doing the activity to have good photos, remember its one hour with the gorillas for conversation reasons. Dinner and overnight lodge in the forest.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest.
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale forest National Park. You will have lunch en route and on your arrival to the park, you will head for a swamp walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will view the birds and monkeys that inhabit the swamp. Dinner and overnight stay in Kibale forest.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking activity. Today you will have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee briefing activity by the forest ranger guides. You will locate the chimps by listening to their pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from which they are calling. You will also see the Black and White Colobus monkeys; Black faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. Dinner and overnight in the forest.
Day 5: Return to Kampala.
Take an early morning breakfast then organize to head back to Kampala or Entebbe airport depending on your flight plan and organize to catch your flight back home.
